Tamiya PS-14 Copper is a spray in a copper shade intended for polycarbonate bodies. According to the manufacturer it must not be used on plastic models.
Responsibility details are not available.
A spray in a copper shade with a volume of 100 ml from the PS range. This range was developed for painting the clear polycarbonate bodies of radio-controlled models. It is applied from the inside of the body, so the resulting gloss is protected by the polycarbonate itself and the paint does not rub off in impacts. At the same time the manufacturer expressly points out that the PS range is not intended for plastic models.
First remove the protective film from the inside of the body, wash it and let it dry. Mask the windows and the areas that are to stay clear from the inside. According to the manufacturer, hold the can about thirty centimeters from the surface and apply thin coats with pauses between them. According to the manufacturer the paint resists oil and fuel, so it can be used without worry on models with a combustion engine as well.
Do not use this paint on models made of kit plastic, on resin or on varnished surfaces: the solvent will attack soft plastic. For plastic models the manufacturer has other spray ranges. Work outdoors or in a well-ventilated room, do not breathe the fumes and protect your eyes. The can is under pressure and flammable; do not expose it to heat and do not pierce it.
A flammable spray under pressure. Use in a ventilated area, protect your eyes and keep out of the reach of children.
