PS57 Pearl White

PS-57 Pearl White, a spray for polycarbonate, 100 ml

A spray paint of one hundred milliliters in a pearl white shade. The key fact first: this range is developed for clear polycarbonate bodies of radio-controlled vehicle models, and the manufacturer expressly states that it is not to be used on plastic kits. It is applied the other way round, that is from the inside of the body, so that the finished surface stays smooth and protected from abrasion.

Work tips

Shake the can thoroughly before use, as the pearl particles settle to the bottom. Spray from the inside of the body from a distance of about thirty centimeters in several thin coats. Pearl looks best over a smooth base and is laid on evenly, because an uneven thickness of coat shows more with pearl than with a covering color. Behind the pearl coat a covering white or silver is usually added to back the effect.
