PT-PR03 Knife Storage Warehouse (Blue)

PT-PR03 Knife Storage Warehouse (Blue)

A storage box from the DSPIAE brand, intended for modeling knives, blades, scribers and other slim tools that otherwise lie around loose on the bench. Every tool has a position of its own, so the cutting edges do not touch one another and they neither go blunt nor cut you when you feel around in a drawer. The version is blue; the brand runs the same box in further color versions as well, which helps to divide tools up by the kind of work.

Use

• Always put tools away edge down into a position of their own, not loose on top of one another.
• Keep used and new blades in separate sections; that saves needless trying out.
• Keep the box within arm's reach of the bench, otherwise you will stop going back to it while working.
• Blow the inside out now and then; sanding dust on an edge acts like abrasive paper.
• When you have several color versions, assign one group of tools to the color of the box.

Who the box is for

It suits anyone who has more than two knives at the bench and does not want to hunt for which blade is still sharp. It serves modelers who work on several builds in turn and need their tools divided up well too. Anyone who gets by with two tools in a drawer will have no use for an organizer. It pays off most where cutting, scraping and scribing alternate on one model and the tools otherwise pile up on the bench top among parts in progress.

The box serves to store sharp tools. Keep it out of the reach of children and take care when taking tools out.
