Pure Metal Pigments BRONZE is a Green Stuff World metal pigment in a bronze shade. Once applied and burnished it gives a surface a genuine metallic sheen that ordinary metallic paint cannot achieve.
Responsibility details are not available.
A metal pigment from the Pure Metal Pigments line. The difference from ordinary metallic paint is fundamental: metallic paint is a binder with particles dispersed in it and the sheen only arises within the coat. A metal pigment, by contrast, is laid directly onto the surface, and when it is burnished the individual particles level out into a continuous surface that behaves like real metal. The bronze shade is a warm golden-brown tone of bronze, the color of gun barrels, bell metal, fittings, statues and old machine parts.
On historical models on guns, fittings and ship fittings, on figures on armor, buckles and jewelry, on busts on plinths and accessories. Bronze goes naturally with patina; a greenish verdigris or a dark wash in the recesses will underline the age of a casting.
For figure painters, bust collectors and modelers who want metal surfaces that cannot be imitated with paint. It calls for a little patience in preparing the surface, but the result is incomparable.
A modeling material, not a toy. Keep out of the reach of children, work in a well-ventilated space and do not breathe it in.
