About product

RAF Camouflages Color Set (Air Series) from AK interactive

This acrylic set from the Air Series aircraft range holds eight shades for painting British aircraft of the Second World War. The combination of shades covers practically the whole of the war period, from the early schemes through the late gray camouflage to the desert shades. The paints are water-thinnable, formulated with the reduction of scale in mind, and suitable for a brush and for an airbrush.

Use

  • Early camouflage with a dark green and an earthy brown on the upper surfaces.
  • Late schemes with the gray shades of the sea and ocean tones.
  • Desert shades for aircraft from the Mediterranean and North Africa.
  • With an airbrush for soft camouflage transitions, with a brush for picking out details.

Who the set is for

For aircraft modelers who build RAF fighters and bombers of the Second World War.

Acrylic paints thinned with water; ensure ventilation when airbrushing.
