Rob Taurus Vacu Canopy F-15E 1:32 is a vacuum-formed clear canopy for a model of the F-15E. It is not cast in resin — it is cut out along its outline and glued with a colorless adhesive.

This is an accessory for a plastic model, not an aircraft kit. The canopy is drawn from thin clear sheet, so it has a markedly thinner wall and better optics than a part from an injection mold: the frame looks slender and the interior you laboriously built shows through the canopy. Vacuum-formed canopies are also easy to divide and fit in the open position.
The F-15E Strike Eagle is the two-seat strike version of the F-15 fighter, adapted for attacking ground targets in all weathers. The rear seat belongs to the weapon systems officer, the fuselage carries conformal fuel tanks along its sides and the nose is longer to house the equipment. The two-seat cockpit with its long canopy is the most conspicuous difference from the single-seat versions on this type, and in 1:32 scale it is a prominent feature of the model.
Go around the canopy along its outline with a sharp scalpel or scissors with plenty to spare and only then work in toward the line: proceed patiently, sanding the lower edge in small steps on sandpaper laid on a flat board and dry-fitting it on the fuselage as you go. Mark the outline of the edge with a fine felt-tip pen so that you know where to sand. Any scratches can be polished out with a plastic polishing compound, and dipping in the future clear coat will bring a dulled sheet back to gloss. It is glued solely with a colorless adhesive that does not fog the transparent material; cyanoacrylate glue and plastic cement have no place here. Mask the frames with strips of masking tape or a pre-cut mask and spray thinly.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without glue. A vacuum-formed canopy has to be cut out and sanded to suit the particular model.
