Plastruct Rectangular Strip 0.3 x 4.0 x 250 mm

A rectangular styrene profile with a section of 0.3 mm (height) x 4.0 mm (width) and a length of 250 mm. It is a precisely extruded model profile in polystyrene (styrene), which cuts, sands, drills and glues easily. The thin flat strip suits cladding, plates, stripes and fine surface detail; it can also be bent slightly. The package holds one piece.

Use

Work tips

Part the profile with a sharp blade or a fine saw and dress the edges with abrasive paper. Styrene profiles are joined with modeling cement for plastic (liquid poly cement), while cyanoacrylate glue gives a firm joint with dissimilar materials. The surface can be primed and sprayed with ordinary modeling paints.
