Plastruct Rectangular Strip 0.5x4.8x250 mm

A rectangular styrene profile with a section of 0.5 mm (height) by 4.8 mm (width) and a length of 250 mm. It is a precisely extruded modeling profile in polystyrene (styrene) that is easy to cut, sand, drill and glue. The thin sheet suits cladding, plates, strips and fine surface detail, and it can be bent slightly as well. The package contains one piece.

Work tips

Cut the profile with a sharp knife or a fine saw and clean up the edges with abrasive paper. Styrene profiles are joined with modeling cement for plastic (liquid cement), while a firm joint with different materials is made with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The surface can be primed and sprayed with ordinary modeling paints.
