A flat plastic strip of rectangular section from Plastruct, made of polystyrene (styrene). The strip is 3.2 mm thick, 6.4 mm wide and 250 mm long. A versatile material for reinforcements, strips, frames and flat surfaces.
The profile cuts easily with a sharp modeling knife or a saw and is glued with cement for polystyrene, which melts and joins the surface, or with super glue. The cut edges can be sanded and the surface takes modeling paints without trouble once a primer has been applied.
This is a modeling raw material (a raw plastic profile), not a kit. Glue, paints and tools are not included in the package.
