About product

Mr.Paint RLM 76 Lichtblau, a lacquer paint for the airbrush

A pre-thinned lacquer (solvent-based) model paint from Mr.Paint in the shade RLM 76 Lichtblau, a light blue-gray meant for spraying with an airbrush. The paint is ready to use straight from the bottle, dries quickly, covers excellently and forms a thin smooth layer. The RLM 76 shade was used on the lower and side surfaces of Luftwaffe aircraft in the later part of the Second World War.

Use

  • Lower and side surfaces of Luftwaffe fighters (for example later versions of the Bf 109, or the Fw 190) from the later part of the Second World War
  • A light blue-gray base for late Luftwaffe camouflage schemes
  • Applied with an airbrush only, in thin coats over a suitable primer
  • It combines well with other shades of the RLM line when building a period camouflage

Who the paint is for

For modelers building German aircraft of the Second World War who want a faithful shade for the lower and side surfaces of the later schemes. Because it is pre-thinned it suits less experienced airbrush users as well: it is ready to spray with no thinner to measure out.

A lacquer (solvent-based) product and flammable. Spray it with an airbrush only, in a well ventilated space, wear a respirator and protect your skin and eyes. It is not meant for brush application. Keep out of the reach of children and away from sources of ignition.

No. This is a pre-thinned lacquer paint ready to spray with an airbrush straight from the bottle. Apply it in thin coats over a suitable primer.

The paint is intended for an airbrush only. It is not optimized for brush application. Always spray in a ventilated space with a respirator, because it is a flammable lacquer product.
