Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit from the Taiwanese brand Freedom Model Kits out of the Compact Series line, issued as a special edition. The models of this line are deliberately stylized into a shortened egg-plane form, while keeping the characteristic features of the real machine. The Special edition designation means that the release differs from the basic version in something, usually in the contents of the decals or in additional equipment. The build is short and undemanding; the model is made up of just a few larger injection-molded parts.
The F-16A and F-16B are the single-seat and two-seat versions of the first production form of the American multirole fighter. Block 20 is the production block delivered to the Republic of China Air Force, which operates it as its main fighter type. In later years the aircraft went through an extensive modernization, thanks to which their service life was considerably extended. For modelers they are interesting above all for their unusual national insignia and the color schemes of the individual squadrons.
Snip the parts off with nippers and clean the sprue remnants up with a file or a sanding sponge. Paint and fit the cockpit before gluing the fuselage together. An airbrush suits the gray scheme well, but on this type of model careful brushwork also stands up. Before the decals, go over the surface with a gloss coat and, once dry, with a matte one again, so that the decals do not silver and the surface looks uniform.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
