Rolling Pin Mesh is a Green Stuff World texture roller with a mesh structure. It is not a putty and not a finished part - it is a tool with which you press a regular grid texture into your own modeling putty.
Responsibility details are not available.
Unlike the stone and brick patterns, this roller offers a regular technical structure resembling mesh or a grating. It comes into its own wherever you need an industrial or machine surface: the floors of halls, platforms, the cladding of science fiction structures, and also the imitation of fabric and wire mesh. The roller is a tool for repeated use, not a consumable putty.
A metallic look suits this structure. Spray a dark base, go over it with a metallic shade with a dry brush so that only the edges of the openings are picked out, and add a dark wash. Apply rub-through to polished metal only where people really walk. If you are building a rusty grating, work in pigments in transitions from orange to brown and keep them mainly in the recesses - uniform rust looks flat.
Modeling putty, a release agent and paints are not included in the package. Clean the roller immediately after work with a soft brush - dried putty is harder to remove from these small openings than from any other pattern.
