The second part of the Dutch set joins the gray-blue finishes of the older Starfighters and Fokkers with today's palette of the F-16 and F-35 aircraft. It is completed by the luminous orange base layer of the Solo Display Team's demonstration machine.

The eight tones in the second part of the Dutch range begin with the silver gray RAL 7001, which the early F-104G carried. When the change to a two-color pattern came in the seventies, the basalt gray RAL 7012 and the yellowish olive RAL 6014 were added to the upper surfaces, and not only on the later Starfighters but also on the light NF-5 and on the Fokker F27 transports.
The trio FS36118, FS36270 and FS36375 matches the grading from dark to light that the Dutch F-16 carry and that appeared on the NF-5 machines, on the C-130 aircraft and on the Fokker F50 and F60 as well. The shade FS36170 stands on its own, that is the overall gray of the F-35 Lightning II aircraft regardless of version.
The last bottle departs from the gray scale entirely on purpose. It is a light orange, which made up the base of the conspicuous finish of the machine J-015, used by the display team of the Royal Netherlands Air Force between 2009 and 2013.
The span from the fifties to the present makes the set a practical foundation for anyone building Dutch machines across the generations. One package therefore covers both the silver Starfighter and today's austere gray of a fifth-generation fighter.
