This is a water-soluble (watercolor) pencil with a slightly oily lead, not a classic bottled paint or a loose pigment. The Rubber shade is dark gray to near-black and suits rubber and tire parts as well as dark grime. The pencil is applied dry like an ordinary colored pencil and can then be blended with water or a damp brush into soft transitions.
Modelers of every level, as well as figure painters who want quick, controllable weathering without thinning paints, will appreciate it. It works best over a matte surface; the finished effect can be sealed with a matte varnish.
Not a food product. Keep out of the reach of children; ventilate when blending with solvent.
