Model Craft - hand pin vise with 5 drill bits

The Model Craft hand pin vise is a precise drill bit holder for drilling small holes by hand without power tools. It has a double-ended rotating chuck with a finger rest, so you can spin it smoothly with one hand, and a hexagonal body that will not roll off the bench. A pair of reversible collets covers a range of roughly 0 to 2.9 mm, and 5 drill bits are included, so you can start drilling right away. Unlike a bare chuck, this version is supplied with drill bits as well.

Use

• Drilling holes for gun barrel tubes, steel pins, handles and antennas
• Starting a hole for a pin when joining small parts
• Opening out exhaust outlets and holes for small tubing
• The bit is clamped by turning the chuck; the collet is turned or swapped to suit the diameter
• Drill slowly and square so that a thin bit does not break
