The S-70C-1 Blue Hawk, ROCAF Air Rescue Group, is an amusing deformed egg and compact plastic kit of a rescue helicopter from Freedom Model Kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit from the stylized egg and compact range from the manufacturer Freedom Model Kits. The Sikorsky S-70C-1 Blue Hawk helicopter is conceived here as a cute deformed cartoon caricature with shortened proportions and an oversized head, yet with recognizable features of the real subject. Thanks to the stylization this is not a scale model but an amusing collectible kit. The doors and the windows can be built open or closed as you choose.
The S-70C Blue Hawk is the export version of the Sikorsky S-70 helicopter (the UH-60 Black Hawk family). In the service of the Republic of China Air Force it serves among other things with the rescue group (Air Rescue Group) for search and rescue operations.
Compact models of this range tend to be simple to assemble and can often be built even without glue; for strength we nevertheless recommend liquid cement for plastic. The color areas come out well once paints have been applied with an airbrush or a brush; the deformed shape is rewarding for beginning builders too.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
