A sanding strip is a thin backing with an abrasive layer that can be bent, wrapped around a finger or pulled through a gap where ordinary sandpaper and a file will not reach. That is exactly why it suits the places that cause the most trouble on a model: the seams between parts that are already glued, recesses, inner corners, the surroundings of small details and surfaces that are to stay untouched all around. The set contains strips in several grits, so the whole procedure can be worked through from coarser leveling to fine refinement without having to buy individual pieces.
The set suits anyone who refines a surface before painting, that is on sanded joints, filled places and resin parts. It also comes in useful on figures, where sanding has to be done between details without damaging what is around them. The set is a good start for anyone who is still finding out which grit they use up the most.
