A photo-etched detailing set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard intended for the plastic kit of the Soviet mobile SAM-6 anti-aircraft missile system in 1:35 scale from the Trumpeter brand. It is not a model of the equipment but a package of thin metal parts that replace and complete the plastic items of the launcher, of the missiles themselves and of the chassis, and give the build fine detail.
The SAM-6 designation belongs to a Soviet mobile medium-range anti-aircraft missile system on a tracked chassis, which carried several guided missiles on a rotating launcher. In its day it was a feared means of air defense used in a number of conflicts.
The photo-etched parts are separated with a sharp knife on a hard backing and glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Fine grilles, platforms and fittings look more realistic than thicker plastic. Straight bends are more accurate with a photo-etch bending tool, and the small items are held with tweezers.
This is an add-on set, not a model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
