The set carries the designation set number 7 and consists of four spraying stencils measuring 60 x 40 mm. The motif is a wood structure, that is, the pattern of rings and grain. The small format is aimed at diorama accessories and smaller areas, where a large sheet would be in the way.
The stencil is laid on the surface before spraying, not after the paint has dried. Let the base coat dry perfectly, and only then lay the stencil on the area and hold it so that it is in contact along its whole edge; secure any loose corners with a piece of masking tape. Apply the paint perpendicularly from above and in several light coats. A heavy application runs under the edge and the fine pattern merges together. After spraying, lift the stencil straight upward and clean it while the paint is fresh, because a dried layer clogs the fine cut-outs.
A wood structure comes into its own anywhere a smooth area is to look like a plank: crates, pallets, the load areas of trucks, the floors of buildings or a base under a model. You will strengthen the result by going over the sprayed pattern with a thin glaze, which catches in the shadows of the pattern.
Paints, thinner, masking tape and an airbrush are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
