Set Metal Filters - Interference Colours

Set Metal Filters - Interference Colours from Green Stuff World

A combined set of liquid filters from the Metal Filters line, gathering the interference shades of that line into one package. A filter differs from a wash in that it does not run into the recesses and does not draw lines: it is applied in a thin coat over a whole surface and shifts its tone. Interference shades, besides, are not fully opaque, and their effect changes with the angle of view and with how the light falls on the surface.

Why a set

The individual shades can be combined and layered over one another, so over the same metallic base you get a whole range of casts, from warm to cool. Anyone who finishes several models or paints figures will appreciate having the variants together in one package.

Use

• Stir every pot thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles at the bottom.
• Apply to a perfectly dry, smooth surface, ideally over a metallic or darker shade.
• Work in thin coats and let each one dry before you add another.
• The shades can be layered over one another to create transitions between the warm and cool sides of the palette.
• Clean the brushes immediately after work and close the pots carefully.

Who it is for

For modelers and figure painters who are finishing a surface and working with metallic effects, whether on military vehicles, aircraft, cars or on fantasy and science fiction subjects. It suits anyone who expects to use interference shades repeatedly.

Keep out of the reach of children. Work in a well-ventilated room, protect your eyes and skin and follow the details on the packaging.
