A Playmarker marker set for the undead

A set of markers from the Playmarker range, put together with skeleton and zombie figures in mind. The shades are chosen so that they follow on from one another and can be used side by side on a single figure. The tip lays the color on directly, so a brush, a palette and mixing all fall away, and a figure, a mat and a little time are all you need to paint.

Who the set is for

The undead turn up in board and turn-based games in whole hordes, and it is exactly with numerous units that painting quickly and without a palette in progress pays off. The set will serve players who want to get a whole group into color in one evening, and beginning modelers too: a marker is held like a pencil, the paint does not run and the work can be broken off at any moment. A more experienced builder will use the set to lay down the base colors and carry on with a brush.

How to work with the set

• Wash the figure in lukewarm water with dish soap before painting and let it dry.
• Try each shade first on an offcut of plastic or on a hidden part of the figure.
• Work from the larger areas to the small details, so that the tip does not smudge finished work.
• Lay on thin coats and let them dry; only then go over the area a second time.
• Leave the hollows between the ribs and in the eye sockets darker; the shape comes out that way.
• Store the markers carefully closed, and follow the manufacturer's instructions for thinning and cleaning.

Terms of supply

A set of markers is supplied. Figures, varnishes and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Work in a well ventilated room and keep the markers out of reach of children.
