This is a diorama accessory from the Dynamo-Models range, not a vehicle kit and not a figure. The plaque carries the Soviet star in a plain form, given in the name as Soviet Star - Plain, and serves to mark a base, a display case or a finished scene. The size of 25 mm is given directly in the name; the same subject also comes out in a 40 mm variant, so go by the figure in millimeters when choosing.
Throughout the existence of the Soviet army the five-pointed star was its most conspicuous recognition mark. It appeared on tank turrets, on the fuselages of aircraft, on caps and on banners. The designation Plain in the name means a plain form, that is a star without a border and without any inner design. It is precisely such a form that is the most universal, because it is tied to a whole army rather than to one formation or one period.
A plaque belongs in a clearly visible place, most often on the front edge of a base or on the frame of a display case. Try the layout dry: the middle of the front edge reads formally, while shifting it toward the edge leaves room for a caption with the name of the scene. The badge comes out best on a plain and rather dark ground, because a broken-up surface visually breaks up its design. Leave a clear margin around the plaque so that it is not lost among the details of the diorama. Anyone who builds several scenes on one army will do well to keep the size of the plaques and their placing the same. The material and the surface finish are stated on the box, so choose the finishing procedure according to what you find in the package.
