The light frontline fighter designated Fulcrum in eight shades: grays from neutral to a dark gull gray, a gray-green, a sky blue and a white gray.

While Sukhoi was building a machine with a great range, the other design bureau was given the task of a lighter and cheaper aircraft for the defense of its own airspace. It first flew in 1977, reached the units at the beginning of the 1980s and became known for two qualities: the ability to work from unpaved strips thanks to closable air intakes, and exceptional agility in combat at short range. After the collapse of the Eastern bloc it spread to dozens of countries and some of them operate it to this day.
The eight tones capture the typical gray and gray-green combinations of this machine. There are three steps of gray here, from neutral through light to a dark gull gray, then a white gray for the light fields, a gray-green for the camouflage areas and a sky blue for the underside. A light green tone completes the combinations used by some operators outside the home setting.
The finish of this type is made up of a larger number of smaller fields, so it suits to work section by section and to leave time for drying between passes. Sketching the layout out with a thin pencil first and only then spraying works well, because putting an oversprayed field right costs more work than a minute of thought. The panel lines on this machine stand out markedly, so it pays to leave them visible and not to flood them with a thick coat.
The package will cover the home as well as the export form of the type, the single-seat and the two-seat training version.
