A solid square plastic rod 3.2 x 3.2 mm across and 250 mm long. This precisely extruded section of modeling plastic cuts, sands, drills and glues well. The thicker solid square section is stiff and stable and suits load-bearing spacers, posts and straight edges. The package contains one piece.

Work tips

Cut the rod with a saw or a sharp knife and clean the cut up with abrasive paper. Polystyrene sections are joined with modeling cement for plastic, and a firm joint with other materials is made with super glue. The surface can be primed and painted with ordinary modeling paints.
