Natural crushed aggregate of basalt in a dark gray to black tone. The grain size H0 is a medium grade, the most common one for the most widespread scale of track. Dark basalt imitates a modern ballast bed faithfully. The package holds 240 g of loose material. Made by the Czech firm Polak.
For railroad modelers and diorama builders who want a dark, realistic bed in the medium scale. Scatter the material, level it with a brush and fix it with thinned PVA glue with a drop of detergent dripped on with a pipette; once it has dried, sweep the excess off.
