The set contains pre-cut thin strips of yellow masking paper 0.7 mm wide. They are used to define narrow lines accurately when spraying paint, for example the boundaries of camouflage, stripes, borders or small demarcations where ordinary wide tape would be clumsy.
The material is flexible and holds well, so it adapts even to slightly curved surfaces and creates a sharp transition between colors. Once the paint has dried, the tape peels off cleanly.
The width of 0.7 mm is a somewhat wider variant than the finest strips and suits models of all scales wherever thin lines need masking.
