A special issue of The Weathering series devoted to painting and weathering Israeli armored vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a special issue of The Weathering series, that is, a modeling handbook that sticks to one subject and takes it apart in depth. That subject is the painting and weathering of Israeli armored vehicles. Israeli tanks are among the rewarding subjects precisely because the environment leaves strong marks on them, from a dusty lower hull to bleached surfaces on top, and because they differ from European schemes at first sight.
The Weathering series is built on picture sequences, where one step follows another and the reader sees how a model gradually matures. The extent of the issue, the number of examples and the choice of particular vehicles are given by the publisher for this edition. The publication is meant for reading at the desk, not for gluing or spraying, so you need no further equipment with it.
You will get the most out of the handbook if you go through a chosen procedure in full before you pick up a brush, and only then try it on a spare part or on an older model. Take the shades and products shown in the examples as a guide, not as a binding prescription. Always follow the instructions of the manufacturer of the paints you have at hand, because the individual lines behave differently.
The handbook suits modelers who already build and want to move their surface finish on, as well as those who are only preparing to tackle Israeli vehicles and are looking for support in a picture guide. This is a printed title; paints, products and tools do not belong to it, unless stated otherwise.
