Triple Hex bases 32 mm, type 2 are Green Stuff World hexagonal bases for figures used in games played on a hexagonal grid.
Responsibility details are not available.
Bases with a hexagonal plan 32 mm in size from the Triple Hex range, in the version designated as type 2. A hexagon fits into a game board divided into hex fields and, unlike a round base, it shows which way the figure is turned. That comes in handy in games where the firing arc or the direction of movement depends on the orientation of the model. Alongside this version there is also a type 1 of the same size.
How to prepare a base
Stick the figure on with cyanoacrylate glue, and with heavier metal castings rather with two-part epoxy. The surface of the base can be filled, sprinkled with sand, supplemented with stones and grass tufts and painted. If the material is absorbent, go over it with primer first, otherwise the paint will draw inside and the surface will roughen.
For players of tabletop battle games on a hex board and for collectors who want their figures on uniform bases. The flat underside holds the model in place on the board, and the edges make lining up neighboring fields easier.
The bases are supplied unpainted and without figures. Glue, paints and material for terrain treatment are not included in the package.
