A set of plastic tubes with an outside diameter of 5 mm from the manufacturer Tamiya; the package contains five pieces. It is modeling stock (a plastic profile), not a kit. The hollow tubes serve for building, reworking and adding to models, as exhausts, barrels, piping, posts, runs or the structural elements of dioramas.
The tubes are easily parted with a sharp knife or a saw, and the ends are trued up by sanding. They are glued with ordinary cement for plastic or with super glue. The material can be painted just like plastic models, best with a primer coat before painting.
