This product is not a vehicle kit but a scenic diorama accessory. It is a casting of a tree trunk serving as a base for vegetation in dioramas and on scenic bases. The trunk is supplied unpainted and is meant to be completed with a crown, moss and a surface finish according to the needs of the scene.
A trunk forms a natural focal point in woodland, rural and combat scenes. It combines with figures and vehicles in various scales, because a tree in itself has no fixed scale and adapts to the surrounding scene. It also serves as a striking element on a base of its own.
Clean the part and, if necessary, sand away the casting marks, protecting your breathing as you do so. Give the bark a base coat and bring out the texture by layering brown and gray tones, with a wash into the cracks and a dry brush along the edges. Add the crown, foliage and moss with scenic materials.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints, materials for the crown and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
