TS-24 Purple 100ml

Tamiya TS-24 Purple (spray 100 ml, made by Tamiya)

A spray paint from the Tamiya TS range. The binder is a synthetic lacquer that dries quickly to a smooth gloss surface. The shade is a deep gloss purple. The can holds 100 ml, which covers roughly two or three bodies in 1:24 scale. The spray is ready for immediate use and is not thinned.

Use

• Apply in thin coats from a distance of roughly 20 to 30 cm onto a clean, degreased and smooth base.
• Deep purple comes out best over a light base; over a dark base apply more coats.
• Do not apply it over an enamel base, as the lacquer spray could attack it.
• Once dry, details can be added with acrylic or enamel paints, which will not attack the layer.

Who it is for

For modelers of cars, motorcycles and other vehicles looking for a striking gloss purple with an even finish without an airbrush.

The spray is flammable, so work in a well-ventilated area away from sources of fire and protect your airways. It is not recommended for clear polycarbonate (Lexan) RC bodies; use the Tamiya PS range for those.
