U-STAR tungsten micro drill bit 1.0 mm

A single tungsten carbide drill bit of 1.0 mm diameter intended for modeling work. It is fitted into a hand pin vise or into a micro drill and serves to make accurate holes with clean edges.

Use

  • Drilling holes for pins, dowels and firmer joints between parts.
  • Gun muzzles, exhausts and technical openings.
  • Mounting handles, wiring, antennas and photo-etched parts.
  • Hand drilling in a pin vise or in a small drill at low speed.

Who it is for

For modelers who need a reliable hole of one millimeter diameter for installing details and joining parts firmly. Carbide keeps its edge longer than steel but is more brittle.

The bit is hard and brittle at the same time, so drill without sideways pressure and protect your eyes. Keep out of the reach of children.
