Kit and leather equipment tend to have a greener tone than the uniform, and Lifecolor Green Tone Gears aims at that position. A water-based acrylic paint for the straps, bags and field equipment of figures.

Straps, ammunition pouches, bread bags and leather equipment were sewn from a different fabric from the uniform and dyed in different batches. The result is well known from photographs: the kit holds a tone of its own, sometimes greener, sometimes more toward yellow. Green Tone Gears from Lifecolor covers the greener position and is a water-based acrylic paint intended for figures and their equipment.
Kit is a layer of its own
On a well-painted figure three levels can be read: the body and face, the uniform, and the kit pulled on over it. Each of them needs a color value of its own, or the figure looks like a casting in one color. A green kit tone works best against khaki and olive uniforms, where it sets itself apart from them without jumping to the front. Worn straps also tend to be drawn out on the edges and darker on the lower faces, so here too it pays to work with a difference of values rather than with another color.
For figure painters who want the kit kept apart from the uniform, and for diorama builders where small equipment appears away from the figures as well.
Stir the contents of the package before use. Store it well closed at room temperature and out of the reach of children.
