A neutral green tone of uniform fabric is brought by the acrylic paint Uniforms Green from Lifecolor, built for painting figures with a brush.
Responsibility details are not available.
Under this name the Lifecolor figure range holds a water-based acrylic paint. The name defines neither an army nor a period: it is a general uniform green of medium lightness that serves as the starting tone of the fabric and as the link between the more specific period shades of the same range.
A green looks most natural in two or three thin coats that let the folds come through. Mix both the shadow and the highlight from this tone itself: a drop of brown settles it into shadow, a drop of a sandy color draws out the edges and seams. Pure black and pure white make a jump on a small area that the eye reads as dirt rather than as light.
It will be reached for by modelers who paint infantry, vehicle crews and diorama scenes and want one reliable uniform green in the palette with no national attribution. It will also serve well as a mixing element when a particular period shade is too raw on a small area.
Keep out of the reach of children. Ventilate while working and do not put the paint near food or drink.
