The khaki cloth of a period uniform gets a tone of its own in the acrylic paint Italian WWI Uniforms Tela Khaki from Lifecolor.
Responsibility details are not available.
The shade from the Lifecolor figure range is a water-based acrylic paint and within the period set it stands for khaki uniform cloth. The word tela in the name means cloth, so it is clear at once that this is a textile, not leather and not a metal item of kit.
The set of period uniform tones is built so that the individual fabrics are close to one another. Khaki here therefore does not come forward as desert sand but as the warmer neighbor of the gray-green. Use both colors in one scene and the difference is noticeable, yet the whole stays calm. That is exactly why smaller steps are chosen on figures from this period, within the shading of a single area as well.
It will be appreciated by figure painters who paint figures from around the First World War and by everyone who wants a khaki in the palette that does not slide into yellow. It will also serve on tent canvas, textile straps and the canvas accessories of a diorama scene. In a larger composition it also suits as a second cloth tone to tell one figure from another.
Store out of the reach of children, ventilate while painting and close the container carefully after work.
