Shake the bottle thoroughly, as the pigment settles to the bottom. For a brush the paint is used practically as it is; for an airbrush thin it to the consistency of milk. Sand shades behave treacherously on a model: on a small area they look darker than on a large one, so always make your sample on a piece of plastic, not on paper. Spray the transitions between close desert tones in several weak applications, as a sharp division would look hard on a model.
