The Lifecolor UA574 modeling paint in the shade Air Superiority Blue per the standard FS 35450, a light blue-gray for modern aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
A light blue-gray shade listed under the standard FS 35450 and under the common name Air Superiority Blue. This group of shades appears on modern combat aircraft whose finish is meant to reduce visibility against the sky. That is exactly why the shade is light and not very rich; on a model it behaves differently from dark camouflage and forgives fewer mistakes in the evenness of the spray.
Stir the contents thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles at the bottom. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio as instructed by the manufacturer on the packaging and use the thinner intended for this range. Apply in several thin coats; with light shades it pays to unify the surface first, so that the differences between plastic, filler and sanded spots do not show through under the final color.
The paint will be used by builders of modern aircraft who want to work with a named shade per the standard and not to mix it from other colors. The shade also suits places where a light blue-gray tone is needed on the undersides or to round out a palette of blues of one's own. The package contains the paint. Thinner, brushes, an airbrush and the model are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
