The starting overall tone of the second flesh line is provided by Flesh 2 Base: a water-based acrylic paint for the overall ground of the skin of figures.

Human skin is not one color, and a modeler who puts several people into one scene needs to tell them apart. Flesh 2 Base is a water-based acrylic paint and fills the role of the base in the second flesh line, the one that runs independently beside the first and has a shadow and a light of its own.
Two lines side by side
The advantage of two independent flesh series is purely practical: in one diorama you can have people with a different type of skin without mixing the shades afresh every time and risking that the second figure does not come out as well as the first. Apply the base in a thin coat and let the area even out, and only then add the shadow and the light from the same line. Both lines start from the same logic at the same time, so the procedure stays the same every time and only the color position of the skin changes.
The shade will be appreciated by modelers of figures and busts who work with a layered technique, and by makers of dioramas with several people, where absolutely uniform flesh would look unnatural. It is practical too for collectors who only touch finished figures up and need to follow on from an existing flesh tone.
