Fallen plaster is among the most rewarding details on a model building, and the acrylic shade Broken Plaster from Lifecolor is aimed at precisely that.
Responsibility details are not available.
The acrylic modeling paint Broken Plaster is named after the plaster that has fallen off a facade in places. That is exactly how it is worked with: not as a uniform coat on a wall, but as a medium tone around which you move up and down across the area.
A real facade does not have a single color. The band under the gutter is darker from running water, the area above the ground is dirtied by splashing rain, dust holds around the cracks and shadow stays in the corners. A model painted in one even tone lacks all of that and the eye notices it before it manages to realize why. Unevenness is therefore the intention, not an imperfection of the work.
It will be appreciated by builders of dioramas with ruins and demolition sites, by modelers of buildings for railroads and military scenes and by everyone who builds architecture as a background for vehicles or figures. It will also serve well on small architectural elements such as low walls, base courses, fence posts and wells.
Keep out of the reach of children and work in a well-ventilated room.
