The ground at the foot of a wall can let down even a carefully painted facade, which is why the acrylic shade Dirt Road from Lifecolor has a firm place in diorama architecture.

An unpaved track is a shade that belongs on a diorama before the last brick starts to be dealt with. Dirt Road is an acrylic paint named after a dusty field track, and in a scene with buildings it fills two roles at once: it colors the terrain and at the same time supplies the dust with which the whole building is then tied to the ground.
The most common mistake of diorama architecture is a sharp boundary between a wall and the terrain. In reality nothing of the kind exists. At the foot of a wall blown dust holds, rainwater splashes from the ground onto the base course to a height of about half a meter, and the color of the track gradually fades away upward. When this transition is missing on a model, a building looks as if it were built on a board and not in a landscape. That is exactly why an earthy shade is used in a scene not only down low but is carried a good way up onto the masonry as well.
For builders of dioramas, vignettes and model railroad layouts where a building stands in open country or at the edge of a village. It will serve outside terrain too, as a general dust tone for vehicles and architecture, and it gets along well with all the brick and mortar shades.
