On the north side of a building green growth holds longest, and the acrylic green Lime Green from Lifecolor is a rewarding tool for suggesting it on a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A wall that has stood for decades is never merely brick. Where the sun does not reach it and where damp holds, a green film appears. The acrylic shade Lime Green is a light green with which such growth is suggested on a model, and strictly in coats, not in one go.
A green film is the last coat a wall received, so on a model too it comes after the brick, the mortar and the dust. The placement decides, not the quantity. Green belongs under gutters and downpipes, in the corners, at the foot of a wall and on the north side, never evenly over the whole area. It is applied by emptying the brush almost completely and tapping the paint into the surface rather than painting it on, so that it stays only suggested in the recesses and on the edges. The richness is built by repetition, because taking green away afterward is always harder than adding it.
For builders of ruins, abandoned buildings and overgrown corners, for modelers of railroad buildings and for everyone who wants masonry to look old and not merely dirty. It will also serve as a pronounced light green outside architecture, for instance on vegetation in terrain or on the small details of equipment.
