Hemp pulled out by the sun loses almost all its color, and it is precisely this state that the acrylic shade Colorless Hemp from the Lifecolor range describes.

Hemp pulled out by the sun loses its color before it loses its strength. After a long enough spell outdoors a brown-yellow cord is reduced to a light, almost colorless material on which only the weave of the fiber and the dirt that has eaten into it are still visible. Colorless Hemp from the Lifecolor acrylic range is aimed precisely here: it is the lightest position of the hemp group, and therefore a shade that behaves differently in a diorama from the others.
Two different roles
The first role is on its own: an old rope, a dried-out net or rotting sacking left by a wall. The second is a helping one, with the shade used to brighten over darker hemp tones. Because it is light, it works well as the highest point of the scale, on which the eye catches the shape of a rope.
Light shades easily flood the texture on a thin rope. Apply them in small amounts and with an almost dry brush, then: as soon as a rope lightens all over, the impression of a rope disappears and a white thread is left. It also proves worthwhile to work from the edge of a part toward the middle and to keep the light on one side of a rope only, as one-sided lighting looks more natural than a rope lightened evenly.
The paint is acrylic, water-based, for the brush and the airbrush alike.
Keep out of the reach of children. Stir the contents thoroughly before use and ensure ventilation when spraying.
