The reddish position of the stone shades of the Lifecolor range belongs to the shade Reddish Stone: for sandstone masonry, brick rubble and the warm pieces in paving.
Responsibility details are not available.
A reddish stone gives a scene the warmth you will not get out of a gray area. Sandstones, red granites and stones with a high iron content have a tone shifted toward rust, and in masonry or paving they appear as individual pieces among cooler material. Reddish Stone from the Lifecolor acrylic range occupies precisely this warm position of the stone group.
The role in an area
The shade is most often used not for a whole wall but as one of the values in a varied area. A stone wall stands and falls on irregularity: a few warm pieces scattered among gray ones give masonry life, whereas a one-color area looks like a casting. The same rule holds for paving, where warm stones appear irregularly and never in continuous bands. A warm stone moreover changes its tone according to how long it has been on the surface: a freshly exposed quarried face tends to be richer than a wall washed by rain.
For diorama makers and builders of buildings who work with stone and brick areas, and for modelers of bases. A water-based acrylic paint, for the brush and the airbrush alike; the individual pieces of masonry are dealt with by brush, continuous rock ground more easily by spraying.
Keep out of the reach of children. Stir the contents thoroughly before use and ensure ventilation when spraying.
