The light stone shade Light Stone belongs to the group of Lifecolor acrylic paints mixed for stone and rock surfaces on dioramas and bases.
Responsibility details are not available.
An acrylic modeling paint from the Lifecolor brand, from the family of shades named after stone. The light, rather coolly beige tone corresponds to limestone, sandstone and dried-out rock, that is, to the surfaces that form the background on a model and are not meant to draw attention to themselves.
Where it suits
How to work with it
Stone never has one color. A light base therefore works best when darker tones are laid into the joints later and a dry brush in a lighter shade onto the edges. The neighboring shades of the same group, the bluish, brown, greenish and reddish stone, are built so that they can be combined with one another and create the natural inconsistency of rock.
The shade can be applied with the brush and with the airbrush. Shake the container thoroughly before work, so that the tone is the same on all the parts, and lay the coats down thinner and several times rather than once heavily.
For diorama makers, builders of bases and railroad modelers who need a light neutral stone as a base on which further work with weathering, dust and moss is possible.
Keep out of the reach of children. Work in a ventilated area and use respiratory protection during longer work with an airbrush.
