The Model Craft Ultra Flush Micro-Shear cutters are precise modeling cutters for a clean cut on sprues and soft plastic with no burrs and with a minimum of sanding afterwards.

Precision cutters for separating parts cleanly from sprues. The almost flush cutting design leaves only a minimal stub, so a large part of the subsequent sanding falls away. A spring returns the cutters to the open position and makes quick work easier. The cutters are meant for soft plastic and plastic sprues, not for hardened metal or wire.
For modelers who want clean cuts and less cleaning up. They come into their own with plastic kits of aircraft, vehicles, cars and figures.
Do not use them on steel wire or hardened metal, as that would damage the edges. Protect your eyes, because offcuts can fly.
