About product

Village Ruins - AK Basing Bits (resin scenery parts)

This is a set of resin castings representing the remains of ruined village buildings: fragments of walls, brick rubble and the torsos of structures. It is neither a kit nor a figure, but a scenery accessory meant for extending bases, gaming bases and dioramas. The parts are finely detailed and are supplied in raw resin to be painted.

Use

You lay the elements out on a base according to the composition and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before gluing, wash the parts free of mold release agent residue and cut off any casting remains. The surface takes primer, acrylic paints, washes and pigments well, with which you can create the impression of weathered masonry, dust and wartime destruction.

Who the set is for

  • Builders of dioramas on a town or village theme
  • Wargamers building atmospheric bases for figures and vehicles
  • Modelers who want to set a vehicle or soldiers into a ruin
  • Anyone looking for a quick basis for a scene without modeling it from scratch

Supplied as unpainted resin parts. Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.

FAQ

No. These are resin scenery parts of ruined buildings that serve to dress up bases and dioramas, not to build a model of an aircraft or a vehicle.

No, they are supplied in raw resin. We suggest degreasing them, priming them and painting them with acrylic, a wash and pigments.

Best with super glue (cyanoacrylate), which bonds resin to a base reliably.

The parts are universal and usable across the common scales of figures and vehicles according to the composition of the scene.
