Weathering Master Set C from the manufacturer Tamiya is a set of powder weathering colors in a practical case with a hinged lid which makes it possible to give a model realistic weathering quickly and easily. Set C contains three shades aimed at rust and metal effects – Orange Rust, Gun Metal (dark metal) and Silver (polished metal). An applicator with two ends is part of the package: a small brush at one end and a sponge at the other. The color has a semi-dry consistency, holds well on the surface and does not run into the surroundings.

Use

• Pick up a little color with the applicator and rub it lightly onto the edges, the raised parts and the exposed places of the model
• With the small brush you pick out the edges and the grooves, with the sponge you create overall soiling, the beginnings of rust or metal scuffing
• The shades can be layered and mixed with one another for a natural transition from rust into metal
• Wipe off or spread the excess color until you reach the intensity you want
• Suitable as the final finishing weathering on a model that is already painted and dry
