AK Interactive Weathering Pencils: Deluxe Edition Box is a large set of weathering pencils from AK Interactive — water-soluble and intended for weathering models.
Responsibility details are not available.
The boxed release of the weathering pencil set from the Spanish maker AK Interactive. This is a modeling accessory, not a kit — the pencils are used to create weathering and drawn-in effects on finished models, dioramas and figures. The pigment is soft and water-soluble, so the marks can be blended, softened and shaded with a damp brush much as in watercolor. The Deluxe edition brings together a wide palette of the 37 most-used weathering shades in one box.
The set suits modelers who want precise control over weathering effects — from beginners, who will appreciate how easy a pencil is to handle, to experienced builders who combine pencils with other techniques (washes, pigments, oils). It finds use on military vehicles, aircraft, ships and on buildings and dioramas.
Safety note: an accessory for weathering models, not a toy. Keep out of the reach of small children and use in accordance with the maker's instructions on the packaging.
