A Hataka paint set for Regia Aeronautica aircraft of the Second World War period, volume 1.
Responsibility details are not available.
A paint set for models of aircraft of the Regia Aeronautica, that is, for machines of the Second World War period. Italian camouflage schemes are among the more colorful things to be found on aircraft of that time: blotches and mottled patterns in earth tones over a light base call for several shades side by side, and that is exactly what the set covers. The volume 1 designation distinguishes this set from further sets of the same focus.
Stir the bottle thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles when it stands. Choose the thinner, the thinning ratio and the method of application according to the manufacturer's instructions for this line; a different thinner can curdle the paint. Apply the paint in thin coats and let them set, as one heavy coat floods the fine detail and dries less well. Always try the shade and the behavior of the paint on a piece of scrap plastic, best on the same base the model has.
Italian mottled patterns are best done in layers: first a light base over the whole surface, then softly edged blotches. Close the bottles carefully after work and store them at room temperature, as cold and frost do paints no good.
A model, thinner, brushes and other material are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
