About product

Mr.Paint WWII US Dark Earth ANA617 (30 ml)

A solvent-based modeling lacquer from the Slovak manufacturer Mr.Paint. The dark earth shade (Dark Earth, or Field Drab, ANA617) matches the brown used on the upper surfaces of American aircraft during the campaign in North Africa in the Second World War. The lacquer is pre-thinned for immediate airbrushing and the package holds 30 ml.

Use

  • Intended for the airbrush only, pre-thinned for direct application.
  • It can be thinned only with lacquer thinner, never with water.
  • Suitable for the upper surfaces of machines used in desert and African service.
  • Spray in thin coats over a degreased base, ideally over a primer.

Who it is for

For modelers of American aircraft from the fighting in North Africa who want a faithful earth shade for the upper surfaces.

The lacquer is flammable and contains organic solvents. Work in a well-ventilated space, with a respirator and away from sources of ignition.
